You did not spray much pesticide and the bugs are still biting after day when you treated the room.

We only spray where it is necessary and for strategic reasons, do not want bugs to be chased to another room.

Bed bugs will not die straight away, it takes a few days to start to effect them. Then we need to come and re spray.

It is a war of attrition, the problem should be completely gone over a three week period.

I do not want to clean up before a pest control company visits.

I can not be bother to clean up all the lying clothes and ornaments and books can you just work around them?

It will make the job harder and make the treatment less effective.

If you want the bed bugs to be gone you need to clean up all unnecessary items into clear plastic bags.

Take clothes, bedding, curtains to the dry cleaners or put in very hot water.

I do not want to buy a mattress protector.

Mattress protectors are very important to trap any bed bugs in your
bed or bed base.

It also make our job a lot easier as we do not have to spend hours dismantling your bed. Bed bugs do not exclusively hid in your bed they can be anywhere but bed bugs do prefer the bed or head boards. Hence the name. Even if you through your bed out, you could have more bed bugs visit your house in the future.

I feel a mattress protector is vital. And in a hotel 100% essential to
stop continual reinfestment.

If that were the case pest control companies would be bankrupt.
Pesticides bought in the shops will not kill the bugs they will just
chase them away for a few days.

The peryrithin in most bed bug prays bought in the shops are what
we cal in the industry a 'flusher'.

It just chases the bed bugs out so then we can spray the professional pesticides. Perytihin is a naturally occurring compound. But you may chase them away to a new room, compounding the problem.

My home is clean, there can be no bed bugs in it.

We share a bed, it can not be bed bugs it must be all in her mind.

When bed bugs bite people different people react differently. So have
an allergic reaction to the saliva and the anti colagulant and histamine
in the bed bugs bite. So people in the same room do get bitten but do
not have an itch or bumps.
